8) Practice exposure checklist
An athlete is not game-ready just because they passed a clinic battery.
I would use a staged exposure model:
• Non-contact individual work
• Controlled team drills
• Unrestricted practice minutes
• Repeated practice exposures
• Contact tolerance
• Back-to-back session tolerance
• Full-speed scrimmage tolerance
• Only then: competitive minutes
To clear for full competition, I would want:
• no swelling spike after practice
• no next-day regression
• stable mechanics late in session
• stable performance under fatigue and decision-making load
